Rhian
BSc, MSc, PhD, MCSP, AfHEA
Rhian is a postdoctoral research assistant and a qualified physiotherapist who joined the Bart’s Bone and Joint Health team in January 2024.
Rhian recently finished her PhD in health services research where she was investigating hip fracture and depression and the role of current rehabilitation in this relationship using several different quantitative research methods. As an early career researcher, Rhian has been involved in research in the areas of fragility fractures and mental health and rehabilitation in older adult populations. She is also interested in the establishment of clinical academic pathways for AHPs, promoting research to student and clinical physiotherapists and exploring health inequalities in black populations.
